Namibia is renowned for its diverse and fascinating wildlife, including desert elephants, black rhinos and the worlds largest population of cheetahs!

Get up close and personal to some of the countries most iconic animals while exploring the vast deserts and grasslands that surround you. Home to the incredible Fish River canyon, Etosha National Park and the highest collection of sand dunes on Earth (Sossusvlei), there are plenty of beautiful places to explore.

With an average of 300 days of sunshine every year, Namibia is the perfect place to top up your tan while helping on rewarding rehabilitation and conservation projects.

Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary

Get up close and personal to incredible animals, such as cheetahs, leopards, lions, baboons and so much more! The Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on a 3,200-hectare reserve near Windhoek and offers a safe refuge for an ever-growing abundance of orphaned, injured and abandoned animals.

Namibia Carnivore Conservation & Research – Kanaan

Volunteer as a big cat conservationist in the stunning Kanaan Region of Namibia, where your help will ensure the carnivores habitat and all other animals that call it home, are safe for years to come. Your time will be focused on researching the free-roaming populations of carnivores to support the important role in mitigating human-wildlife conflict.

Namibia Elephant & Wild Dog Research – Mangetti

Come and help our researchers in Mangetti where you will actively contribute vital data to aid with our conservation efforts. You will research the levels and causes of conflict between humans and African wild dogs and elephants in an effort to devise an effective plan. Explore the natural savannahs, lush grass plains and see these incredible animals up close.

Namibia Carnivore Conservation & Research – Neuras

Want to be a part of conservation in Namibia? Well we cannot think of a better project to volunteer on! Assisting with data capture of native carnivores, you will help with the research on the conservation of carnivorous species such as cheetahs, leopards and hyenas in the stunning Namibia Desert.
